Today Pergamon stands in Bergama Province, one hour away from modern Izmir city of Turkey. Acropolis of Pergamon is located on a 1000 feet high hill and this citadel used to host "Satan's Throne" which is mentioned in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 2:13). Pergamon still stands as a perfect example of Greek - Roman hybrid cities. Greek theater which is standing on a hill and Roman temple of Emperor Trajan should be seen in this city.
